The bathroom is sometimes an area for relaxation or deep contemplation for other individuals. It is one part of your house that you can stay alone as long as you want. As soon as you close the door, you are having the time of your life. However, if the bathroom is unorganized and dirty, it will forfeit its purpose of giving you tranquility. Clutter is not a good thing and it can add up to your worries every time you see something that is messed up, whether inside your bathroom or anywhere else in your house.According to studies, the number of things stored inside the bathroom is not in proportion to the actual space available. Except if you have a wider bathroom, then this is not applicable to you. A medicine cabinet and a vanity place is a permanent feature in any lavatory. When you find clutter in these areas can ruin the entire ambiance of the place. Thus, they should be removed and make the things organized.Here are some do-it-yourself tips on how you can keep your bathroom clean and organized.Do not be too excited by doing everything all at once. You will only end up making the place worse. Take it one step at a time. First is to identify those clutter areas inside the bathroom such as below the sink and the medicine cabinet. Get all those stuff inside and try to sort them out. Get rid of the things that you no longer use or expired. These are not healthy to keep.You must be able to decide which equipment or storage container should remain in there. Be sure to inspect every corner of the bathroom and sort the things properly. In this way, you can eliminate the trash to free some space inside.Group the similar stuff and organize them. It helps to put some labels on their plastic container. It will be easier for you to find something if you use clear plastic canisters. Place all similar things in decorative baskets if you do not like to stack them in the plastic containers.If the sink contains a cabinet, then there can also be clutter on that place. If you have no cabinet then it would be a lot better to keep the cleaning materials aside from putting them below the sink. These cleaning materials can also be stored in clear plastic containers for a more organized storage. Place them neatly below the sink.After performing everything above and you are not yet done with storing all your belongings, free more space for them. Vertical wall area for shelves, hooks and towel bars can be placed in places you prefer to put. Place some shelves near where you will be using the items that are found inside them. A concrete example is having extra soap and shampoo that can be kept inside the medicine cabinet for easier access. Other towers can be placed on the shelves.If you are not the only person using the bathroom, remind your family and friends to keep it clean to maintain the relaxing ambiance of the room.
